Milia Lancing

Milia Lancing

Often mistaken for whiteheads, milia are actually keratin-filled cysts that form just under the skin, looking like white or yellowish bumps on the skin’s surface. Once the skin has been cleanses, a sterile needle is then used to create a tiny incision in the skin. The contents of the milia are then carefully extracted so as not to cause any trauma to the skin.
