Diffuse Redness Laser Treatment

Even out your skin tone and calm redness with Candela GentleMax Pro

Do you struggle with persistent facial redness, flushing, or a ruddy skin tone that never seems to fade? Our advanced Candela GentleMax Pro laser treatment targets and calms diffused redness, helping to restore a beautifully balanced, even complexion.

What is diffused redness?

Diffused redness, sometimes called background redness or diffuse erythema, is a generalised redness that spreads across the cheeks, nose, chin or forehead.
It’s often caused by:

  • Visible but fine capillaries under the skin

  • Rosacea or inflammation

  • Sun damage or environmental stress

  • Genetics and sensitive skin

Unlike isolated broken vessels, diffused redness gives the skin a constant flushed or pink appearance. Our goal is to gently reduce that redness and strengthen the skin’s resilience.

How the treatment works

Using the power of the GentleMax Pro’s dual wavelengths (Alexandrite 755 nm & Nd:YAG 1064 nm), the laser precisely targets the tiny vessels and redness within the skin.
The light energy is absorbed by the blood vessels, which are then safely and naturally reabsorbed by the body—leaving behind a clearer, calmer complexion.

The GentleMax Pro’s patented Dynamic Cooling Device™ ensures the treatment is comfortable and suitable even for sensitive, redness-prone skin types.

What to expect

  • Treatments take approximately 15–30 minutes depending on the area.

  • You may experience a mild warmth or “snap” sensation as the laser is applied, followed by gentle cooling between pulses.

  • After treatment, skin may appear slightly flushed for a few hours—this is completely normal and subsides quickly.

  • Makeup can usually be worn the next day, and most clients return to normal activities immediately.

Results you’ll love

  • Reduced background redness and flushing

  • A more even skin tone

  • Fresher, healthier-looking skin

  • Confidence in your natural complexion

A course of 4–6 sessions, spaced about 3–4 weeks apart, is typically recommended for the best results, with maintenance treatments as needed.
